1. PROJECT OVERVIEW Old age should be a time of dignity, security and companionship. Unfortunately, many elderly people experience abandonment, loneliness, financial hardship and lack of adequate healthcare. Omashram Trust provides a safe and caring home for vulnerable and neglected senior citizens. Through the Adopt-a-Parent Programme , individuals, families and corporates can sponsor the comprehensive care of an elderly resident for a period of one year. The programme aims to ensure that every elderly resident receives not merely food and shelter, but also healthcare, nutrition, personal care, emotional support, companionship and dignity . Project Duration 12 Months Primary Beneficiaries 50 vulnerable and elderly residents currently under the care of Omashram Trust.

Our mission is to restore dignity, respect, and happiness in their lives. Project Description: This project focuses on strengthening the day-to-day living conditions of elderly residents at Omashram. Many of our residents are admitted free of cost and depend entirely on donor support. The project will cover: • Daily nutritious meals for residents • Medical care including regular check-ups, medicines, and emergency support • Hygiene and sanitation (adult diapers, toiletries, washing facilities) • Caregiver support and operational expenses • Recreational and emotional well-being activities Project Goals: • Provide consistent care to 50 elderly residents • Improve health outcomes through regular medical attention • Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment • Promote emotional well-being and social engagement Impact: Your support will directly impact the lives of elderly individuals who have been neglected or abandoned, giving them a second chance at living with dignity and care.
